All parking rates indicated are quarterly rates. The parking rates listed below are effective from July 2010 through the end of June 2011. Parking rates are subject to annual increases during the fall quarter.

CARPOOL PARKING RATE

ALL employees participating in TMP -- $45 per Quarter.
TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT PLAN (TMP)
Flat Rate -- $10.00 per quarter
OTHER RATES & INFORMATION
- During summer quarter, teaching faculty and part-time staff receives discount parking rates equal to approximately two-thirds (2/3) of the regular parking rates of his or her specific rate bracket. Regular rates apply to all other employees.
- The TMP fee is mandatory for all employees purchasing a parking permit or an ORCA Card through payroll deduction. The TMP fee is used to support Transportation Management Plan and Commute Trip Reduction Program at Seattle Community Colleges.
- All parking fees, stated above, include a ten (10) percent commercial parking tax, imposed by the City of Seattle, effective July 1, 2007, as well as the 9.5% retail sales tax.
All benefits eligible employees can now have their parking and ORCA Card fees deducted on a PRE-TAX basis. The fees would then be deducted from the employees gross income, for those who choose to pay the fees through payroll deduction. If an employee chooses this option there is NO refund available. Therefore, for those staff (especially Faculty) who stop working for a period of time, but may still receive a paycheck (stipend), it is vital the employee CANCEL the payroll deduction. The employee is free to cancel and re-start this deduction at any time (changing only once per month, please).
