The Testing Office is on Summer Schedule until September 5, 2017.
Placement testing is available at these times only:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesdays: 4 – 6:30 p.m.
A placement test is used to find a student's strengths and weaknesses, and to help determine where a student is ready to begin their coursework in math and English. A placement test is not like most traditional tests because there is no way to "pass" or "fail."
Some programs Seattle Central have specific placement test score requirements. (For instance, many programs require readiness for English 101.) You should check these requirements carefully. If you don't meet the program requirements, you will be placed in classes to help build your skills.
