- Seattle Central is easy to reach from every part of the city. Just minutes from downtown Seattle, the campus is served by seven bus routes. If you live south of town, take Seattle’s new light rail line to Westlake Center - we’re a short bus ride, or a 10-minute walk away.
Academic excellence
- Each year, more than 500 students transfer from Seattle Central to one of Washington’s baccalaureate institutions.
- Classes are taught by knowledgeable and dedicated instructors. Nearly one-third of our faculty members hold doctorates in their fields, and the rest hold a master’s degree.
- Seattle Central now offers a bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral science.

State-of-the-art facilities
- Seattle Central is building for the future. Visit our new $26 million Science and Mathematics building and then check out the new Creative Arts Academy. With 36,000 square feet and cutting-edge computer labs, it’s one of the most comprehensive visual communications training facilities in the nation.
- Seattle Central’s Wood Construction Center and Maritime Academy will soon have brand-new facilities after completed renovations totaling $45 million.

- Seattle Central’s tuition is half the price of a four-year college.
- Seattle Central has an open admissions policy. We have programs for those who do not speak English and for those seeking to improve their basic reading, writing, and math skills.
