2011-2012 COMMENCEMENT

Commencement ceremonies will take place on at 1PM on Sat. June 16, 2012 at Benaroya Symphony Hall. More specific information about the commencement ceremony will be available on this page as the date gets closer.

If you want to have your name appear in the commencement program, you will need to submit your Graduation Application by April 13th.  If you miss this deadline, you may still participate in the ceremony as can those who complete their degrees during summer quarter.   Please note the summer graduates' names will appear in the following year's program.

Important First Steps to Commencement

You should begin the graduation process one quarter before your complete your degree requirements:

  1. Fill out and submit the Graduation Application form located in Registration or online at: http://seattlecentral.edu/forms/gradapps.php. Graduation Application forms for professional technical degrees can be obtained at the division offices or from your division counselor.  You must file a separate application for each degree or certificate for which you are applying.

  2. Turn in the application at the Registration Office.
  3. If applicable, all transfer credits from other colleges must be evaluated prior to submitting the Application for Graduation.

Once an Application for Graduation has been evaluated, you will receive a response in the mail notifying you of your eligibility to graduate.
