Printers:
The PCounter print management system is an account-based service offered via student computers in the Library and the Computer Labs.
How does it work: Money goes into an account. Account names are the EdNet login names. Passwords are the last six digits of the SID. When a print job is sent, a box pops up asking for the login name and password, and tells the user how much money they have left. The job then prints from the printer which was selected.
What does it cost: $0.02 for black/white; where available, $0.10 for color.
How to pay: Each student receives an initial allocation of $0.50 their first quarter. When that runs out, its time to add money at a PCounter station in the Library or the Computer Lab. Machines take coins as well as bills, and are set to use exact change the amount you put in stays in. There are no refunds, so its best not to put in excessive amounts of money.
Copiers:
The librarys photocopy machines charge $.10 per page for black/white copies. Color photocopiers, and fax services are available in the Copy Center in room 3105A of the Broadway Edison building.
