SCCD Network Maintenance

The Seattle Community Colleges have established a monthly maintenance window during which the college network and all internet services will be unavailable internally and to the public.

The scheduled down time is a two hour period, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and always on a Friday.

The Friday, 5:00pm to 7:00pm time period was chosen because it is one of the slowest time periods for accesses into our network. The dates were chosen to minimize any impact on the HP3000 production (such as Payroll runs), first 10 days of quarter, end of quarter grading and/or month-end processing.

NOTE: During the maintenance window all network services will be unavailable including:

• All internet sites (at all colleges and the Siegal Center)
• All faculty sites hosted on college web servers
• HP 3000 access
• All Intranet services
• All SCCD Exchange services
• Network access to shared printers and drives
• Internet access from all campuses
