Special Short-Term Groups Visiting Request Form

Is your school or agency interested in sending a group of students to the United States for a short time? Our carefully designed programs offer a comprehensive study of English, business, or culture, and integrate classroom learning with real-world experiences. Look over the options below and decide which one best suits your needs. Then complete and submit the online request form.

If you have an idea for a short-term program that is not included in our pre-packaged options, we would like to hear from you, too. Complete the appropriate sections of the online request form and submit the form to us. We may be able to develop a program suited to your specific needs.

Option One: For beginning, intermediate, or advanced speakers of English: Study English and Explore the Pacific Northwest. Two, three or four week program includes 15 hours of class per week (3 hours each day), an orientation/welcome, and a farewell party. Program also includes three afternoon excursions per week and an extended excursion each weekend. Host family placement and airport transfers upon request. Minimum 10 students and two-week program. Length of program may be extended upon request.

Option Two: For intermediate or advanced speakers of English: American Business and the Seattle Corporate Community. Two, three or four week program includes 15 hours of class per week (3 hours each day), one site visit each week, an orientation/welcome, and a farewell party. Host family placement and airport transfers upon request. Minimum 10 students and two-week program. Length of program may be extended upon request.

Option Three: For intermediate or advanced speakers of English: Cultural Relations in a Modern American City. Two, three or four week program includes 15 hours of class per week (3 hours each day), an orientation/welcome, and a farewell party. One or two cultural excursions each week with class, and assignments within the city, individually and in groups, are part of the required coursework. Host family placement and airport transfers upon request. Minimum 10 students and two-week program. Length of program may be extended upon request.

A typical two week program for 20 students incorporating homestay, 3 meals per day, 15 hours per week of instruction (10 students per class), 6 local afternoon activities and two all-day weekend trips costs approximately $1,900 per person, not including international airfare. This price also includes transportation to and from Sea-Tac Airport, homestay placement, bus fare to and from Seattle Central from homestay, required textbooks, orientation, welcome and farewell parties, and usage of the computer labs and Activity (Athletic) Center. Prices are subject to change and will vary based on number of participants, program duration and number of instructional hours.
